Disney’s World of Color

We got some tickets to go see Disney’s World of Color at California Adventure, so I took the opportunity to try a little more night photography.

Again I discovered that the 50mm lens gave much better quality pictures but I fell foul of the problem I’ve had with other shoots…. I didn’t know where the action would be, so I didn’t know where to stand.

There was only a certain section of the viewing area we were allowed in, but a combination of needing to use the fixed length lens and not finding the perfect position led to their being a lot of people and lighting equipment in the shots.

I’m hoping one day to go back and get a better position.

Here are my favorites from the shoot though.
